Yes, the one, whom you wished was far far away, as he attacked the charts in the middle of the 80's with his band a-ha. The girls got an enraptured facial expression when the mega-song "Take on Me" started and their horse posters were covered over with life-size Harket posters. Now, the 43 year old Norwegian guy celebrates a great comeback with the album "Lifelines".
If you sit in front of him, you feel what is so facinating about him, what makes cool business women shout "marry me". It is the "blue" of his eyes which looks so gentle and sensitive. It is the unique calmness, which he exudes. You feel: this man feels well, where he is and how he is in the moment. And in his outfit too: old jeans and casual T-shirt.
- Is this your favourite style?
Absolutely. These jeans I wear very often. They are by BSA . And I love T-shirts and tank-tops - but they have to be tight.
- You are definately no type for suits then?
Not alot. I have only five in my cupboard. I wear them once in a year.
- Do you have a favourite (clothes) item that carries you through life?
The thing I am thinking of is my car. I have driven a Mercedes M-Class for many years.
- Sorry, I meant clothes or assessories....
My old diving watch by Citizen. And my long sleeved shirt by Marco Polo. I have had it since 1985. It is dark blue and the company label letters are orange. When I am in the Maldives, diving, I wear it night and day.
- Isn't that monotonous?
No, only comfortable!
